McCann Bucharest wins first Cannes Effectiveness Lions for Romania

The Cannes Lions count has reached 21 for McCann Bucharest, in the last 5 consecutive years

 For the 5th consecutive year, McCann Bucharest wins 4 Cannes Lions at the most important advertising festival in the world – Cannes Lions. The big winners of 2015 are Vodafone’s „Sunday Grannies” and „Ghita, The Social Shepherd”.

This year’s awards raise at 21 the total number of Cannes Lions won by the agency in the last 5 consecutive years.

„Ghita, The Social Shepherd”, developed for Vodafone Romania won, for the first time in Romania, a Bronze Lions in Creative Effectiveness Category.

„Sunday Grannies”, developed for the same client, has won two Bronze Lions in Promo&Activations Category and one Bronze Lion PR Category.

When advertising meets reality, the legends of the new digital world are born. Legends like Ghita or like the Sunday Grannies.
